HUMAN RIGHTS AT THE CORE OF OUR MISSION

Safe House is dedicated to upholding human rights for all. Our programs are deeply rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a life free from violence and discrimination. Human Rights Underpin Our Approach. Human rights principles are not just an abstract concept for Safe House; they are the foundation upon which we build our programs. We believe that empowering individuals, families, and communities with knowledge of their rights and the tools to claim them is essential for creating a just and equitable society. Here's how human rights principles guide our work:

• The Right to Equality and Non-Discrimination.
• The Right to a fair trial, freedom from torture and other cruel and inhuman treatment. 4. Rights to, education and an adequate standard of living.

We promote human rights awareness, education, and advocacy, empowering individuals to understand and protect their rights, while monitoring and addressing abuses.

HEALTH JUSTICE

We are committed to the principle of universal access to quality healthcare. We believe that background, income, and identity should never dictate healthcare outcomes. Our advocacy focuses on eliminating systemic barriers that prevent vulnerable and marginalized populations from receiving the health care services they deserve after a healthy family.

CLIMATE JUSTICE

Vulnerable and marginalized populations face the harshest realities of climate change: food insecurity, water scarcity, increased health risks, and the destruction of their homes and livelihoods. We advocate for solutions that directly address climate change and its impact, ensuring that these communities have the resources and support they need to build resilience and thrive in the face of climate change, while demanding accountability.

TECHNOLOGICAL FACILITATED GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE (TFGBV)

At Safe House, we help communities, families, and individuals impacted by Technological Facilitated Gender Based Violence (TFGBV) by providing legal aid to victim of TFGBV, digital safety training, victim support services, advocacy and policy change and engaging with communities through educational campaign and partnership with local organization to promote awareness and prevention of TFGBV.

STRATEGIC CAPACITY STRENGTHENING AND CONSULTANCY

We deliver strategic capacity strengthening to organizations, targeted capacity building for individuals and firms, and specialized consultancy services, driving impactful results within our mandate
